Are you audit ready?

Did you know that for your tools to be correctly calibrated and serviced they need to comply to the International Standard ISO 6789:2017 & ISO 5393:2017?

These Standards ensure compliance for torque accuracy, repeatability, tool safety and functionality to guarantee the user has full traceability and can work safely in the knowledge that the bolt being tightened is going to be to specification.

If an incident occurred on site and an audit was required compliance to the ISO Standards would be mandatory and this cannot be achieved in a mobile calibration van.

To be fully compliant the tools need to be calibrated in a laboratory that is NATA Accredited or Traceable and can guarantee that the test equipment used for the calibration is at a controlled temperature between 18-28 Degrees Celsius and does not fluctuate by more than +/- 1 Degree Celsius during the calibration. Likewise the humidity must not exceed 65% and along with the calibration temperature be displayed on the certificate of calibration.
